La Tienda - mediterranean earth and mineral pigments
Powdered pigments can be used to tint Casein or Emulsion, Colourwash or Glazes, even mixed directly into plaster. For water based products simply soak the pigment overnight in some water before adding to your chosen medium. If you are using a powdered medium then mix the two products together when dry, then add water.
Keep a record of the quantities used.
It is always a good idea to avoid inhaling dust.
