Protect your batteries from deep discharge on boats, caravans in sheds and outbuildings. The new Spectra solar panels with sensitive polycrystalline cells need just daylight to trickle charge batteries. Ideal for maintaining and replacing natural discharge in 12V deep cycle batteries in leisure applications.
To maintain natural battery discharge levels we recommend a minimum solar panel to battery ration of 10 watt solar to a 100Ah battery (based on UK wintertime performance for maintaining most leisure batteries). A separate solar regualator is recommended when this minimum is exceeded, for summertime use or installation closer to the equator. For larger batteries simply scale up on the same basis, ie 20W for 200Ah as a minimum.
Each solar panel is fitted with a built in blocking diode to prevent the battery from leaking back current in darkness and has 3m length of cable attatched.

Manufactured to IEC 61215 with a 10 year limited warranty exempt from part P building regulations 2000. The bulb has a life expectancy of 3000 hours use, to obtain a spare please contact us.
