Greenshop New Eco-Building
Brown roof on the new Greenshop building
The new Greenshop eco building is an exemplar of green building techniques. It is a highly insulated wood framed building with lots of natural light and natural ventilation. Heated by solar thermal and log boiler it has photovoltaic solar panels on the roof producing electricity, a rainwater harvesting system, green and brown roofs to encourage wildlife. The exterior and interior are decorated with natural paints and finishes all of which are available from The Greenshop.
