All our gloss and eggshell finishes are micro-porous, water based and solvent free. When applying on to bare wood we recommend using our undercoat first to improve flow rate. On top of previously painted acrylic or oil based systems, the old paint needs to be keyed back by lightly sanding and the appropriate undercoat used first for easy application and improved drying times.
