Green Shop to launch innovative Consolar water heating products

The Green Shop will be launching an innovative range of solar water heating products at the National Homebuilding and Renovating Show in early March.

The Green Shop stand at the show, at NEC Birmingham on 4th-7th March, will feature a range of products from the German company Consolar. The Green Shop has recently become the UK distributor for Consolar.

By using a large capacity heat store with patented internal plumbing Consolar maximises the volume of hot water that can be produced on days with limited sunshine. In addition the heat store can, if sufficient hot water is available, contribute towards space heating. The Green Shop will be supplying Consolar solar collectors and heating system controllers as well as two sizes of heat store.

Conus 501 & Cubus 1000
These thermal stores are designed specifically to get the most from solar hot water collectors. The heat store incorporates a patented statification system which allows immediate use of solar heated water for the production of domestic hot water or to contribute to the space heating system.

Tubo 11 Solar Collector
Tubo 11 is a compact evacuated tube solar collector designed for use in northern European climates. This highly durable panel minimises the space required and maximises heat gain. Their small size offers a variety of interesting architectural integration possibilities.

Heating System Controllers
Consolar also produce a range of heating system controllers for use with solar hot water systems. These range from the simple 300 model for solar water heating only to the more complex 700 for combined water and space heating applications.
